RFP-08-079-4200 - Durango Landfill Leachate Management System -Design Services

Summary of Specifications:
The La Plata County Public Works Department is seeking a qualified civil engineering consultant to evaluate an existing leachate management system and then complete a conceptual, preliminary and final design for improvements of the existing leachate management system for the closed Durango Landfill. A licensed Geotechnical Engineering Consultant may provide geotechnical exploration and testing during the preliminary design phase and would be subcontracted by the awarded consultant. The consultant shall have previous landfill experience in the preparation of leachate management plans and specifications. This project shall be designed consistent with the CDPHE Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division Regulations Pertaining to Solid Waste Sites and Facilities, 6 C.C.R. 1007-2, Part 1. All work shall be performed under the direction of a Licensed Professional Engineer, registered in the State of Colorado.
