IFB-10-059-4200 - Guardrail Repairs and Replacement

Summary of Specifications:
The La Plata County Engineering Division is requesting construction bids from qualified contractors for the Guardrail repairs and replacements. The project shall commence by August 2, 2010 and should be substantially complete by September 30, 2010. The work scope for this Project shall include the following items (quantities are approximate, refer to the bid schedule for actual bid quantities): 1. Installation of 75 feet of new guardrail and end sections. 2. Repair of rail and various end sections, rail, and posts. 3. Traffic Control. The location of the majority of the guardrail work is on County Roads 240 and 213. The remainder is located on County Roads 234, 250, 200, 207,141, 100, 310, 526, and 521.
