RFP-08-011-3001 - Inmate Telephone Services

Summary of Specifications:
La Plata County (County) is requesting proposals for furnishing a full range of telephone services for the inmates. County currently operates one facility at 742 Turner Drive, Durango, Colorado. The current inmate population averages approximately 180 with a maximum capacity of 194. Currently have an addition under construction that will add 120 beds with projected open date of 2009. The facility currently has 19 phones for inmates and we will add approximately 16 phones in the new addition. It is the County’s primary objective that a telephone Contractor operates in an efficient and effective manner in order that the security of the institution will be maintained and to obtain a quality inmate telephone system to meet the requirements of this RFP.
