RFP-08-043-5200 - La Plata County Land Use/Transit Study

Summary of Specifications:
The County is seeking a consultant to examine our options for making the transition to a functional transit system as well as develop land use strategies that will look critically at the potential utilization of a variety of mobility options and of demand management tools to minimize the impacts on our existing infrastructure. This project scope will include a meeting with County leadership and staff to allow an opportunity for the consultants to better understand our needs, gather preliminary data as necessary and to prepare a scope of work for the County’s consideration should focus on the development of an efficient transit network and the overall land use design that will make it achievable.
