Description

Over the five (5)-year duration of the 2019 Bond Program, the District intends to replace nine (9) all-natural grass fields with new synthetic or engineered turf athletic fields at six (6) district locations. The first year of this program, summer 2019, the District intends to replace three (3) natural grass fields at three (3) schools. The District is requesting qualification statement for this first summer of work. The District reserves the right to renew and extend the executed contract agreement pertaining to all prices, terms, conditions and specifications upon mutual agreement between the District and contractor(s) for the remaining fields over the duration of the bond.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS

The Littleton Public School Turf projects include the over lot grading required to remove the existing natural grass field and associated systems currently located at three schools and construct a new synthetic turf playing surface. Associated construction such as electrical for field lighting are also included in this project. The synthetic turf contractor will be the general contractor.

Due to several questions the District has received on this RFQ/P the decision has been made to hold a Mandatory pre-submittal meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday February 7, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. and will be held in the Jacobs bond trailer. The trailer is located at the Littleton Public Schools administration building 5776 S. Crocker St. Littleton, Co. 80120. The trailer is located at the Northeast corner of the property just off Windermere St. This meeting will be used to clarify the RFQ/P and allow contractors the chance to ask questions. Please refrain from contacting and District or Jacobs personal prior to this meeting.

Candidates’ will provide three (3) written and one (1) electronic proposals which must be received no later than February 12, 2019 delivered to Ross Wilson, 5776 S. Crocker St. Littleton, CO. 80120 by 2:00 PM. Proposals must be in a sealed envelope with Bid #1-19-4 Littleton Public Schools Turf Projects and company name on outside of envelope Late proposals will not be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the firm providing proposals to insure proposals are delivered on time.
