On behalf of Mapleton Public Schools (Mapleton), The Segal Group (Segal) is soliciting proposals from qualified offerors that can provide Medical and Rx services for Mapleton’s eligible membership. Currently Mapleton offers eligible employees access to two fully insured medical/Rx plans offered by Kaiser.

With this RFP, Mapleton is looking to engage the market to identify the best opportunities for their members. They are asking for fully insured arrangements that include access to high quality physicians and facilities, excellent member services, and competitive financial terms. Mapleton will consider HMOs, EPOs, ACOs, and PPO network arrangements. Additionally, Mapleton is open to exploring alternative funding arrangements including risk sharing and level funded premium plans. If an offeror proposes one of these plans, this should be in addition to the fully insured plans requested.

A virtual pre-proposal conference and educational meeting will be held on January 6, 2023, 10:00 AM Mountain Time, to discuss the RFP with prospective offerors, allow them to ask questions concerning the RFP, and to provide a thorough education on the RFP process. To obtain the greatest benefit of this meeting, offerors are strongly encouraged to send their direct supervisory personnel/critical project team members (in lieu of executives, business development, or sales personnel).
