2025000193 - Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS)

As outlined in Colorado House Bill 24-1364, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is tasked with building a Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) to establish a consistent, appropriate, secure, and legal means of data sharing for connecting education and workforce data into the system to support effective state investments and assist Colorado residents in making choices related to their education and training pathways. The OIT shall work with contributing state agencies, local education providers, institutions of higher education, partner entities, and policymakers.
On behalf of the State of Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) is issuing Request for Proposals RFP 2025000193 for the procurement of a Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS). This system must allow for the evaluation of education-based and workforce training programs by linking data from an individual’s early childhood experiences through their participation in the workforce.  This data will then be anonymized and disaggregated for reporting.
