Pitkin County will accept proposals from interested parties for Hydrogeological Consulting at the Pitkin County Solid Waste Center. The Pitkin County Solid Waste Center is located approximately eight miles west of Aspen on Highway 82 in Pitkin County. The facility serves the solid waste needs of the City of Aspen and the other surrounding communities in the Roaring Fork Valley. The site has operated as a landfill since the mid-1960s and has approximately 17 years of life left.
