Rio Blanco County (the “County or Owner”) is seeking a qualified Contractor to apply approximately 343,310 gallons of Magnesium Chloride (“Mag”) blend and 49,674 gallons of an 80/20 CS blend for dust control to approximately 108 miles of Rio Blanco County gravel roads for the RBC 2025 RBC Dust Control Project (the “Project”). In addition, approximately 34,003 gallons will be applied to Garfield County Trappers Lake Road and Trappers Lake Campground Loop at the same unit price, but billed to and paid for by Garfield County. An additional 6,560 gallons will be applied to other county roads but will be billed separately. The intent of this Invitation for Bid (the “IFB”) is to have a Contractor (the “Bidder”) submit a written response (the “Bid”) to specifically address the services required, fee, and provide a well-considered plan of execution for those services.
The County requests the following Bid and qualification information from all prospective Bidders. The following information will be used to evaluate the qualifications of the Bidders interested in this Project. This information is not intended to restrict competition. The intent is to protect the County’s interest by ensuring that the Bidders are competent, capable of quality work and financially able to complete the Project they may be awarded.
The County will consider prior performance on similar Projects in assessing the Bidder’s ability to complete the proposed Project.
