TBD - Bid Notice: CR77 Bridge Replacement Project

Anschutz Exploration Corporation in conjunction with Rio Blanco County intends to advertise for Bid the CR 77 Bridge Replacement Project.  This bridge is located in Rio Blanco County, Colorado over the White River (coordinates are – 40^ 09’ 45” N, 108^ 20’ 40 W).  
The existing bridge is a one-lane 2-span gravel surface bridge.  It is being replaced with a wider 157’ long, one-lane, one or two-span gravel bridge. The contractor has the option to bid on either a steel girder one-span bridge or a concrete girder two-span bridge. The new bridge will be constructed off-line to keep the existing bridge open during construction.  The existing bridge will be demolished after the new bridge is open.
The bid documents will be available August 13, 2024 with a pre-bid meeting on August 26, 2024 at 2:00PM Mountain time and bids will be due September 13, 2024 by 3:00 pm Mountain time
There is some grading required between SH 64 and the bridge to allow larger vehicles to access the bridge.  Minor utility relocation including relocation of two local use power poles.
