Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Buena Vista, 755 Gregg Drive, Buena Vista, Colorado 81211 until 10:00 a.m., on Thursday May 7th, 2015. Proposals and Bid Security shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Town of Buena Vista, and marked “2015 Tee Road & Ivy League Water Main Project”, the entire contract and specifications book shall be submitted with the proposal.
All proposals must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount of at least 5% of the proposal, in the form of a certified check payable to the Town of Buena Vista or bid bond. The check or bond will be retained by the Town if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a contract with the Town.
The Town of Buena Vista Tee Road & Ivy League Water Main Project consists of the construction of approximately 800 linear feet of 12-inch diameter water main.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or technical defects as the best interests of the Town may be served, and may reject any and all proposals, and shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder as determined by the Town.
Cost of Plans and Specifications: No Charge
Length of Time Bids Shall Remain Open: forty-five (45) consecutive calendar days after the date of the Bid opening.
Notice of Award: shall be given approximately seven (7) consecutive calendar days after the date of Bid opening.
