RFP-AA-2011-8 - 2012 Hosted 911 CPE

Summary of Specifications:
The Castle Rock Police Communications Center in conjunction with the Douglas Regional Dispatch Center is requesting proposals for a fully-hosted 9-1-1 Call Process Equipment (CPE) system. It is anticipated that each PSAP will sign their individual hosting solutions contract, but are being combined for this RFP process. The system and equipment will be owned and maintained by the contractor. The system will provide an end-to-end solutions for the respective PSAP. The system's primary use will be to process all emergent and non-emergent telephone calls placed to the center. The selected system will have an optional Logging Voice Recording System (LVR) that can be used with the Digital Trunked Radio System (DTRS). The successful provider will also provide for redundancy in the envent that the primary hosting CPE were to become inoperable. A written plan will be provided to each PSAP outling the redundancy process in the event of primary CPE failure.
