General Description – The work to be performed under this Miscellaneous Concrete contract includes: The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract and the project specifications. The work to be performed under this contract will include the removal and replacement of existing concrete pavement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, mountable curb, gutter and walk, crosspans (10” thick), driveways, curb ramps (6” thick), inlets top and pan, earthwork, grading, and asphalt pavement. The contract shall be awarded based on the unit prices for the work shown in the Bid Schedules A, B, C, and D, and the contract documents. Appendix A (Initial list) represents known quantities at the time of the bid. After completion of the work in Appendix “A”, additional work may be assigned (subsequent lists) to the contractor by the Town’s Project Manager. Once the contractor has received and agreed to the Contract Change Order for the additional work to be performed (subsequent list), which will include the number of contract days for the work to be complete. The contractor has ten (10) working days to mobilize and complete the work within the designated contract days. The contractor will maintain unit prices through December 31, 2018. No guarantee is made as to the quantity of additional work (subsequent list) that may be assigned to the Contractor. Bid Schedules A, B, C and D work shall commence no later than ten (10) calendar days from, and including, the date of the Notice to Proceed, and shall be construction complete (including punchlist items, cleanup, and demobilize) within forty (40) working days. All work on bid schedules A, B, C, and D shall take place during the timeframe of August 20, 2018 – October 5, 2018, or as approved by the Project Manager.
