Description

The Town of Castle Rock (the “Town”) is soliciting CMGC services for the Crystal Valley Interchange Project (the “Project”). The Project consists of the following bridges/culverts and roadways:

Crystal Valley Pkwy over I-25
Crystal Valley Pkwy over Burlington Northern and Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad
North Bound I-25 on ramp over Douglas Run Drainage
East Frontage Rd over Douglas Run drainage
Crystal Valley Pkwy from existing bridge structure at Plum Creek to interchange
Crystal Valley Pkwy from interchange to Dawson Ridge Blvd
Relocation of the East Frontage Rd
Connection stubs to Dawson Ridge Blvd
On/Off ramps for north bound I-25
On/Off ramps for south bound I-25

A full interchange will be constructed at I-25, and complete intersections at the East Frontage Rd. and the relocated West Frontage Rd./Dawson Ridge Blvd.
The selected Proposer (also referred to as “Contractor”) will provide preconstruction phase Construction Management (“CM”) services and will have the opportunity to be selected as the General Contractor (“GC”) during the construction phase. However, the construction contract is not guaranteed, and is dependent on successful Construction Agreed Price (CAP) negotiation with the Town for the various individual construction packages anticipated for this Project that will take into consideration the annual available funding for the Project. The funding for the full Project has not been fully identified at this time which requires the Town to take a holistic approach to identify proactive measures to deliver as much of the Project Scope Elements with available funding, while maintaining synchronicity with future funding allotments.
