201704 -CRW-YH - ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE GORDON DRIVE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The Town of Castle Rock (Town) is seeking a Consultant to provide survey and design professional
services for the Gordon Drive Improvement Project (see Attachment 1 for Site Map). This project
combines multiple components along Gordon Drive in the Memmen’s development area south of Fifth
Street, east of Valley Drive. The Stormwater Engineering Division has identified a need to install storm
sewer infrastructure along Gordon Drive to convey onsite and off-site flows underground through the
right-of-way to minimize street flooding. In order to construct the storm sewer, modifications to the
existing sanitary sewer and water line infrastructure may be necessary. Proposed improvements also
include reconstruction of the roadway from an inverted crown to a standard crown with catch curb and
gutter along Gordon Drive, between Johnson Drive and the southern Valley Drive intersection.  Delivery date is to be determined.
