SE DEER TRAIL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT OVER SURFACE CREEK
The Town of Cedaredge is soliciting bids for the construction of the SE Deer Trail Bridge Replacement Over Surface Creek in accordance with the Bid Documents (BEI Project #: 2023-054-CIV). Sealed Bids for the SE Deer Trail Bridge Replacement Project will be received, at the Cedaredge Town Hall (235 W. Main Street, Cedaredge, CO 81413), until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 26,2024, at which time the Bids received will be publically opened and read. The Project generally consists of:
 Removal of the existing structure (bridge and approach) and clearing the construction area
 Construction (furnishing and installation) of concrete bridge deck, sidewalk and railings
 Asphalt pavement replacement
 Pavement Markings
 Relocating Utilities
 Traffic Control
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis, with additive or deductive alternate bid items (if any) as indicated in the Bid Form.
Complete bidding documents for this project are available in electronic form. Printed copies of the bid documents are available from the Engineer or the Owner. Bid documents may be requested and downloaded without charge and without deposit from brenfrow@buckhornengineering.com. Downloaded files may be printed on the plan holder’s equipment. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference held at 2:00 pm local time on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Cedaredge Public Works Building at 160 High Country Avenue, Cedaredge, CO. Interested parties are required to attend and only bids received from registered attendees will be considered as qualified by the Owner.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to Town of Cedaredge in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder and a Certificate(s) of insurance shall be provided.
No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the receipt of Bids noted above.
