Project Summary:
The Town of Mountain Village owns and operates a water pump station serviced by two wells in the town of Telluride near the base of the ski resort. Well water is pumped over the Coonskin ridge and services residents and businesses of the Town of Mountain Village. The electrical hardware in both the pump station and well cabinets are reaching the end of their useful life and due for replacement.
The scope of work below has been developed in order to replace necessary components and ensure sustainability of this system based on engineer feedback and operational constraints. Each location has a list of work for both primary function and SCADA.
This pump station is vital to the Town of Mountain Village. All work must be planned and executed in a manner that allows the station and wells to pump water at the end of each work day.
