577006 - TOSV Fiber Phase 2

Paper AND Electronic:​ One (1) paper copy of the Bid ​AND ​one (1) identical electronic copy of the Bid on a USB thumb drive. Both must include a signed Bid Form, be in a sealed envelope marked ​ “Sealed Bid for TOSV Fiber Phase 2 Project” and must be received according to the ​ Bid Delivery: Method, Due Date & Address​ table above. 
 
A certified check or bank draft, on a responsible, solvent bank, or a satisfactory Bid Bond 
executed by the Bidder and a recognized Colorado licensed Surety Company, payable to 
the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado, in the amount of not less than five percent 
(5%) of the total bid, shall be submitted with each bid as security that the Bidder to 
whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract in accordance with this 
notice, and give bond as hereinafter provided. 
 
The Bid Security of the Successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has executed the Agreement and furnished the required Contract Security whereupon it will be returned; if the successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement and furnish the required Contract Security within 15 days of the Notice of Award, Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security of that Bidder will be forfeited. The Bid Security of any Bidder whom Owner believes to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award may be retained by Owner until the earlier of the seventh day after the "effective date of the Contract" by Owner to Contractor and the required Contract Security, is furnished or the sixty-first day after the Bid opening. Bid Security of other Bidders will be returned within seven days of' the Bid opening. 
 
Any Bid received after the bid Due Date(s) and time for submission provided on the above table, whether by mail or otherwise, shall be rejected and returned unopened. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that the Bid is received by the deadline indicated above; however, nothing in the IFB precludes the Town from requesting additional information at any time during the procurement process.
