The Upper Thompson Sanitation District (Owner) is hosting an Industry Day for introduction of the WRF and Lift Station Improvements Project (Project) to general and sub-contractors in order to gather feedback on interest, schedule, prequalification, and availability. The Project will upgrade the District’s wastewater infrastructure asset base to meet regulatory requirements and maintain efficiencies in serving the greater Estes Park community. The Project design is 90% complete and Bid packages are anticipated to be released in late summer / fall of 2024.
Information regarding the Project will be provided only to attendees. There are no limitations on number of staff from general and sub-contractors who are permitted to attend. Staff from the Owner and key design staff will be available to discuss critical elements of the work. Civil, electrical, mechanical, masonry, reinforced concrete, dewatering, and instrumentation and controls subcontractors and Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are encouraged to attend.
Attendance is not a prerequisite for future bidding.
At the completion of the Industry Day the Owner will incorporate feedback as appropriate and advise contractors of next steps for bidding the Project using up to five (5) bid packages.
