A. Cart #: Seventy-five (75) new 2024/2025 lithium golf carts, including GPS, on a 72 months (6-years) skip-6 lease. a. New 2024 or 2025 models (all the same - reconditioned or used golf carts will not be accepted) b. All equipment shall be free of defects in title, material, and workmanship. c. Full-color product brochure and specifications for the golf carts being proposed must be submitted with the Bid Documents. d. All seventy-five (75) golf carts must be the same color. Bidder must indicate color availability on the Bid Documents and the Town will advise bidder of choice when the purchase order is issued. If any colors are an additional cost, this must be indicated in the Bid Documents. e. Training a. Training shall be provided on-site for designated Wintonbury Hills Golf Course maintenance staff on the proper preventative maintenance and operational requirements of the equipment proposed to ensure optimal continued operation. b. The Town will be responsible for performing the following preventative maintenance checks: i. Tires: Check tires daily for leaks or damage. ii. Other: Check suspension, brakes, and unusual noises monthly. C. Service The awarded vendor will be responsible for any and all repairs, service, parts, and labor to the carts under the original equipment manufacturer’s warranty. The Town will not incur any costs associated with any warranty service provided. All warranty, repair and service work shall be performed at the sole expense of the awarded bidder. i. All parts used in the repair of the equipment must be new or rebuilt and be that of original equipment manufacturer or those recommend by the O.E.M. All parts, whether new or rebuilt, shall carry the standard manufacturer’s warranty. D. Short Term Rentals a. The Town shall provide a minimum of fourteen (14) days notification to the awarded bidder for the rental of additional golf carts for short term and special events. In the event of an emergency shorter notification may occur and the supplier will make every effort to comply. b. The rental equipment shall be gas and be in good running condition and presentable to customers. The color of the units shall be standard manufacturer’s colors. c. The contractor shall be responsible for transporting the rental equipment to and from Wintonbury Hills Golf Course and also providing any maintenance or repairs as needed during the rental period.
