Specifications include, but are not limited to: Demolition of the following: ● demolition of the existing two (2) smith cast-iron boilers and all associated pumps, piping, controls, previously abandoned fuel piping, and room exhaust/ventilation fan ● demolition of the existing one (1) A.O. Smith gas-fired water heater and associated combustion air and flue piping ● demolition of all electrical and lighting in the boiler room New installation of the following: ● two (2) 2000 MBH condensing boilers ● two (2) base-mounted end suction secondary pumps ● two (2) in-line primary pumps ● one (1) hydraulic separator ● two (2) AL29-4C listed boiler flues routed up the existing chimney with new listed terminations ● two (2) direct combustion intakes from the areaway ● one (1) 119 gallon reverse-indirect water double wall heater ● one (1) boiler room exhaust fan (for cooling) ● one (1) new intake damper for the exhaust fan ● all new hot water piping inside the room ● all new potable cold and hot water piping inside the room ● all new building automation for the new boiler plant and domestic hot water ● infill all existing oil line trenches ● new 208/120 panelboard ● new power circuits to all new equipment ● new lighting in the boiler room ● Alternate Bid Item (ABI) #1: new branch feeders to panelboard from Main Distribution Panel
