Bridge No. 076012 carries Hilliard Street over Bigelow Brook in Manchester, CT. The bridge consists of a single span reinforced concrete slab with a bituminous concrete overlay supported on reinforced concrete abutments. 1) Prepare and submit to CTDOT the Environmental Review Request Form to determine the environmental permits for the project; 2) Review existing plans and bridge inspections. 3) Recommend a replacement structure type. A precast concrete box or arch culvert is anticipated. The replacement structure shall be sized to accommodate a future 6' wide sidewalk.
