The successful proposer will be required to enter into a license agreement with the City of Norwalk to establish, operate and maintain a food service facility within the historic Carnegie Library. Any resultant license agreement may include provisions for the selected vendor to do the following: update the area of the library that has been assigned for the café, select, and provide the furnishing of all necessary equipment, supplies, and furniture that are required to effectively operate a café and service the needs of the library patrons. In addition, the selected vendor will be required to describe the staffing level that will be established and used to operate the café. Any desired modifications to the facility are subject to approval by the City of Norwalk.
