The Town of Southbury is seeking a qualified facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering firm for on-call consulting engineering services. It is the intent of the Town to enter into a contractual agreement with an engineering consulting firm to provide services on an as-needed basis. The consulting engineering firms shall demonstrate the ability to provide a wide range of engineering services for the Town including, but not limited to: building management systems, HVAC mechanical systems, high and low voltage electrical systems including communications and access controls, domestic water, septic, and wastewater plumbing systems, and fire protection systems including wet and dry sprinkler systems and alarm monitoring. Services shall include writing bid documents and specifications, project planning, grant application preparations, project estimating and budgeting, permitting, and project construction administrative services.
