The selected Respondent will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and timely transportation services for the elderly residents of West Haven. The services are as follows: 1. Transportation to and from the West Haven Senior Center: a. Operating Days: Monday through Friday b. Pickup Time: between the hours of 8:30 AM - 9:30AM c. Return Trip Time: between 3:00 PM – 4:00PM d. Note: No transportation services are to be provided on holidays which will outlined within this RFP; 2. Transportation to Specific Locations with the City of West Haven: a. Operating Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday b. Operating Hours: 9:00AM – 4:00PM c. Details: Transportation services are required to pick up and drop off West Haven Senior residents to local locations and transport them to specific locations within the City. Locations are outlined within this RFP (Locations are subject to change) d. Note: No transportation services are to be provided on holidays which will be outlined with this RFP; 3. Primary Passengers: a. The majority of the passengers using these services will be residents of the West Haven Senior Housing Authority. 4. Vehicles Required: a. The shuttle should have the ability to transport between 22-25 passengers per trip.
