The contractor is requested to obtain the necessary permits. Provide dumpsters for any/all material. Property must be left clean, safe, and undamaged daily. It is assumed that Lead-based paints are present, Contractor will comply with all Lead-Safe practices and legally dispose of all removed materials. The price should include 16 windows including the Lead ocular window and storm windows. Remove all paint and glazing from all surfaces and properly dispose of lead waste. Consolidate deteriorated wood components and make epoxy repairs as needed, make Dutchman repairs as needed using original materials. Match original materials as closely as possible. Spray-apply primer to interior and exterior wood surfaces. Salvage, clean and reinstall existing glass. Where broken, provide new restoration glass to match existing as close as possible. Replace broken glass with 1/8” float glass. Spray apply masking liquid over interior/exterior of glass surfaces. Spray-apply 2 finish coats to interior surfaces. Spray-apply 2 finish coats to exterior surfaces. Color to be determined. Including spring bronze installed in the sash pockets.
