Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor will be responsible to provide all equipment necessary to operate the valet parking service including, but not limited to, valet stands (nests), podiums, locked key boxes, signs, parking cones, cell phones, radios, operating software, Point of Sale (POS) units, and cash handling supplies. (Note: Flash Valet valet parking software solution preferred) Contractor shall clearly display hours of operation, insurance coverage and damage claim information; and to obtain at their own expense, all required valet service permits/licenses. On occasion, Valet staff may be responsible to assist with emergency parking situations. 2. UConn Health shall provide Contractor with an area for valet parking on campus, adequate storage for valet parking service equipment. 3. Contractor shall follow any UConn Health Administrative Services requirements for allowable size and set up of attendant stand or podium. Any valet service stand(s) or podium(s) may not block or impede pedestrian or vehicular travel. Contractor shall Work with UConn Health Administrative Services to maximize and/or improve services and respond immediately to customer complaints and inquiries and for serious matters, immediately notify the UConn Police Department.
