The selected contractor for this RFP (the “Contractor”) will provide snow removal services (the “Required Services”) for the Property’s sidewalks on behalf of the Town of East Hartford as outlined in this RFP (See approximate area on the plan in Appendix A). The sidewalks to be maintained include those along State and Town right-of-way adjacent to the parking areas on the Property (including 1,020 feet of frontage on Silver Lane and 700 feet of frontage on Applegate Lane). The Contractor will also be required to pick up bulk waste as well as typical waste items on an on-call basis. The Town of East Hartford will notify the contractor of the need to remove waste and will require a response within 48 hours to the on-call notification. For all Required Services, the Contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to maintain the Developed Area. Contractor pricing shall include all administrative efforts, office expense, vehicle mileage charges, and other business expenses necessary to provide the Required Services.
