a. Patrols assigned areas on foot or in motor vehicles to ensure personal, building, and equipment security. b. Examines doors, windows, and gates on main buildings or inside buildings, depending upon assignment, to ensure security as required. c. Informs and warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles. Note that all Authority facilities are completely smoke free for residents, employees, vendors, contractors and visitors as of January 1, 2024. d. Promptly alerts Middletown Police Department for assistance when necessary. e. Maintains incident log for each shift. f. Performs fire watch duties as instructed by MHA personnel. g. Performs front desk security duties as instructed by MHA personnel
