Services shall include peer recovery support services involving an array of services that are responsive to the specific needs of the participant including, but not limited to, the following: The Mental Health Professional (MHP) will form one crisis response team of the Behavioral Health unit. This individual will be a licensed MHP with area of expertise in both mental illness and substance use disorder. They will design, coordinate, and implement a plan to address the needs of those with MI or CMISA experiencing a crisis. They will work with an identified officer to assist the NCCPD with alleviating crisis situations and coordinating the transfer of services to a qualified mental health individual as the crisis is resolved. They will document on forms and the integrated case management database the services provided, attend any mandatory trainings, and regularly scheduled meetings, and collect data and develop reports as required.
