Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Delaware DNREC is seeking one or more qualified vendors to enter into contracts to provide Division of Water engineering and technical services. The term of the contracts between the successful respondents and DNREC shall be for five (5) years. Specific services will be provided upon the issuance of task orders by DNREC after agreed upon costs for services. The Division of Water manages and protects Delaware’s water resources. It provides technical assistance, laboratory services, regulatory guidance and implementation, performs applied research and provides educational services. The Division is seeking engineering and technical services to support these activities in four distinct areas. 1. Water Supply: Source water and wellhead protection, well permitting, and water allocation. 2. Surface Water Protection: Pollution discharges, non-point source pollution, wastewater treatment, run-off. 3. Groundwater Discharges: Septic systems, septic system installers and inspectors, rapid infiltration basin systems, spray irrigation systems, and underground injection. 4. Wetlands: Marinas, docks, piers, shoreline stabilization and other activities in wetlands and waterways. Several types of services are included in this RFP. Vendors may be considered for one or multiple types of service. When selecting vendors DNREC will ensure that all services are represented with the contracts. Vendors should indicate which services they are qualified to provide. Service activities may include one or more of the following for specific tasks. • Geospatial Surveying • Site Inspections and Reporting • Sampling, Data Collection and Interpretation
