National Defense University (NDU) located in Washington, D.C. utilizes BMC FootPrints Concurrent User Agent Suite which consists of Level 1 (L1) to provide accountability and tracking for all university-wide IT help desk requests (changes, installations, trouble tickets, etc.). BMC Footprints L1 provides accountability and tracking for all of NDU’s IT help desk requests. Additionally, the software maintenance pushes through regular updates and ensures that the upgrades are received in order to maintain compliant, manageable, and maintainable software.
NDU requires the procurement of BMC Footprint Level 1 (L1) software programming to ensure continuity of existing software programming and software upgrades for existing application that is already installed at NDU. If there is no maintenance support for the BMC FootPrints L1, then there may be unexpected software failures or new vulnerabilities within the existing application that may cause mission failure and reduce the effectiveness of the Information Technology Department (ITD) to support the NDU. BMC FootPrints L1 provides NDU with a Workspace, Customer Self-service option, Resolution Tracker, Time-tracking, etc.
