This is a solicitation for publication of a Digital Library of Congress Magazine. See the attached solicitation for details.
The Library of Congress requires a contractor that will provide a contemporary, mobile-friendly digital edition of its institutional magazine, Library of Congress Magazine (LCM). The current magazine is available to the public online in pdf format at
loc.gov/lcm.
LCM is the Library’s bimonthly magazine, produced by the Office of Communications. It is the premier vehicle for telling stories about the institution’s collections, programs and services. Through LCM, the Library seeks to expand awareness of the Library, leading more Americans to connect with it.
The Office of Communications is seeking a Contractor that will produce a digital edition of LCM that will offer readers a more contemporary, mobile-friendly experience, help the magazine reach a broader, more diverse audience and allow the Library to present more of its collections to the public.
The Office of Communications typically produces six issues of LCM each year: a January/February issue, followed by issues in March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October and November/December. The Contractor shall produce a digital version of each issue.
