Amendment 0001 to the RFQ:
The Lodging Purchase description paragraph 1.0 is amended as follows:
1.0 General: The DCNG has a lodging requirement for 50 nonsmoking double-occupancy bedrooms and five (5) nonsmoking single-occupancy bedrooms for the period of 12 – 25 January 2025. Venue must be located within 25 miles (driving distance) of the DC Armory, 2001 East Capital Street SE, Washington, DC 20003 and within 25 miles (driving distance) of Joint Base Andrews Main Gate, 1882 Robert M Bond Dr, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762.
Paragraph '2.0 Price Evaluation Preference for Close Proximity' of the lodging purchase description is removed. See attached, Lodging Purchase Description_Amended.
The Addendum to 52.212-2, paragraph 1.2.2 is hereby removed.
Closing date is hereby extended to 05DEC2024 at 2:00 PM EST.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
Q&A Set as of 02DEC2024:
Q1. Can more than one hotel be used to fill the required rooms?
A1. No, all rooms must be located at the same venue.
Q2. Can a room with a King bed and pull-out sofa be used for a double-occupancy room?
A2. No, a pull-out sofa cannot be considered for double-occupancy.
Q3. Will a tax exemption certificate be provided to the awardee?
A3. Yes
