Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall design an approximately 150 page, double-sided, color document that is visually engaging, positive and inspiring, heavy on graphics and images, and reflective of the diversity of the District community. 1. The contractor shall hold a kickoff meeting and periodic check-in meetings as needed with USA and OP staff to discuss project vision and any written feedback that needs to be clarified verbally. 2. The contractor shall provide three unique and distinct design concepts at the start of the project, for USA and OP selection and approval. The design concepts shall be distinct from the designs of the original Sustainable DC and Sustainable DC 2.0 plans. The icons established for each topic area for Sustainable DC 2.0 (e.g., governance, built environment), as well as the Sustainable DC logo, shall be preserved for Sustainable DC 3.0. 3. The contractor shall develop new illustrations, infographics, and other visuals to represent data and other information in a visually engaging way. 4. The contractor shall incorporate photos provided by USA and OP. 5. The contractor shall be responsible for all graphic design and layout of the Sustainable DC 3.0 Plan. 6. The contractor shall work with USA and OP staff to allow for up to six revisions of the fully laid out document after the initial version, to include text changes and adjustments to visuals but not a shift from the overall design concept. 7. The contractor shall deliver both print and web-ready files no later than September 30, 2024.
