The Library seeks an experienced exhibit design firm to design Culture Homegrown: Reflections from the American Folklife Center (“Culture Homegrown”) in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the American Folklife Center (AFC). The exhibition will showcase a wide array of items from the Center’s longstanding archives and programs that reflect diverse communities’ cultural traditions, stories, and experiences.
The work to be performed under this contract includes the design of the case layouts for the Culture Homegrown Exhibition, which will include approximately 100 objects within a 3,700 square foot gallery, all related graphic design for the Culture Homegrown Exhibition and its promotion and programming. In addition the Contractor must recommended an interactive/audiovisual strategy, with audiovisual elements to be developed under a separate contract.
The Contractor shall provide expert quality, creative design services for the Library for the upcoming exhibition, Culture Homegrown: Reflections from the American Folklife Center.
