The Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) is Requesting Information (RFI) on OWCP’s latest objectives to better understand current industry capabilities along with common practices in pharmacy benefits management. Therefore, OWCP is conducting market research on industry’s capabilities to provide comprehensive pharmacy benefits management (PBM).
A Virtual Industry Day will consist of a kickoff presentation highlighting specific aspects of the draft RFI on June 17, 2024 from 1:00 pm EDT to 3:00 pm EDT. This will be an opportunity for vendors to ask general questions in a group setting in advance of the one-on-one sessions. The kickoff presentation will be followed by a set of one-on-one meetings with individual vendors starting on June 18, 2024 and concluding on June 28, 2024, to discuss the Government’s current, revised objectives for services and industry’s capabilities and standard processes.
WHO/WHAT:
The DOL), Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) is inviting interested parties to participate in two planned events. 1. Industry Day Kick off Presentation and 2. One-on-one sessions with OWCP and its component programs to discuss draft requirements for OWCP pharmacy benefits management as stated in the draft PWS. Please see the list of standard questions that all interested vendors are asked to come prepared to discuss.
Interested parties may contact the DOL/OWCP to reserve a spot for the Kick off presentation and/or to reserve a spot for a One (1) to Two (2) hour timeslot one-on-one session. Each one-on-one session with OWCP personnel will cover vendor capabilities related to market intelligence. OWCP encourages participation in both events.
This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research. It is for information, planning, and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as either a solicitation or obligation on the part of the DOL, nor does this RFI constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this RFI is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred as result of your response.
