Specifications include, but are not limited to: KIPP DC is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for on-demand synchronous virtual instruction. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from vendors to collaborate with KIPP DC to support students who are unable to regularly attend school due to being home or hospital bound. The selected vendor must be able to: • Collaborate with the student’s school team to identify what should be taught (approximately 1 hour per student per week) • Provide real-time, classroom instruction via the internet to PK – 12 student on a 1:1 or 1:several basis • Provide instruction that aligns with KIPP DC’s standards • Provide instruction and support a minimum of five days per week to students (approximately 5 hours per student per week) • Provide data to the school on the progress of the student caseload • Adhere to all FERPA requirements • Provide a synchronous course platform allowing students to complete assignments via the internet
