SOW GENERAL INFORMATION STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW): BACK GROUND: This Statement of need covers what s required to provide all materials needed to provide back up HVAC rental services to support the climate control in the the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center Washington DC 20422. This patient ward has no back up cooling source. The facility needs a temporary solution to bring the temperatures down to a normal operational status. SCOPE: This Statement of Work includes all work necessary materials to support the required equipment and supplies needed (description below) to provide an HVAC/ rental agreement to include six new Packaged Cooling units and all the supporting supplies and materials to decrease the temperatures in the 4B ward spaces. The building site is located at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington DC, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington DC, 20422. Specific temperature and humidity windows cannot be maintained without supplemental cooling. Joint Commission, VA Directives, and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 170 Standard mandate specific temperature and humidity conditions for procedure bays and office areas seeing patients. Vendor will supply all materials, labor, repair, install maintenance of leased equipment, destination delivery, required equipment qty 6, manufacturer warranty, and accessories for fully operational equipment solution for a 6 month POP. Performance Location: Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington, D.C., Main Hospital-50 Irving St N.W., Washington, D.C., 20422. Contract Type: Firm fixed Price Period of performance: Month after contract award Provide all necessary labor and materials for installation and rental of portable chiller units cable of decreasing the temperature. 1.2 ton Spot Cooler 110V qty 6 Vendor will supply all materials, labor, repair, install maintenance of leased equipment, destination delivery, required equipment qty 6, manufacturer warranty, and accessories for fully functional equipment during 6 month POP. Provide temporary air containing units to support the patient ward area. Air Cooled Cooling units capable to decrease the temperature in the space to support the operation requirements. All associated supply and return piping/hosing All electrical cabling to supply power to the temporary units Misc. Â parts needed to support temporary HVAC Cooling units. Contractor will be responsible for all maintenance and repairs of the temporary units/unit during the rental period.
