The Project includes demolition of the existing aquatic facility and full design and construction services for a new aquatic center at the same location. The new facility shall be designed and constructed to meet the growing needs of the population it serves. The new facility shall be an inclusive facility, designed for people of all ages and abilities. The new facility will provide accessible recreation activities to seniors, while maintaining its value to the larger community as well. Senior support spaces shall include a computer room, wellness center, and lounge to support senior community members choosing to age in place. Accessible pools, community rooms, and staff space will also be required. The Project also includes demolition of the existing exterior amenities. Improved exterior amenities shall be provided, including an inviting plaza and entry way, along with decorative artwork at the entrance.
