It is the intent of the Bay County Board of County Commissioners to seek bids closest to the appraised value of $120,000 (September 17, 2013) for the sale of surplus property located at 2017 East Avenue (formerly owned by town of Cedar Grove). Legal Description as follows: Commence at the NE corner of Section 34, Township 3 South, Range 14 West; thence N88º00’W along the North line of said Section 34, 702.90 feet to the East R/W line of Sherman Avenue (State Road 389-A); thence S27º27’13” W along said R/W line, 400 feet; thence S88º50’52”E along the South R/W line of 22nd Court, 876.15 feet to the West R/W line of East Avenue (State Road 389); thence S00º30’42”E, along said West R/W line, 1159.77 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continue S00º30’42”E along said West R/W line, 75 feet; thence S89º07’36”W, 217.79 feet; thence N00º36’45”W, 75 feet; thence N89º07’36”E217.92 feet to the Point of Beginning. Bidders are advised that the purchase of the Property will be subject to the special conditions and requirements contained herein including, but not limited to, the following: The Property is being sold “as-is” with no warranty of title. The Purchaser shall be responsible for curing any deficiencies in the Property and any other matters of title that purchaser deems unacceptable. Property is sold “As-Is”, including any title defects.
