Summary of Specifications:
SEALED BIDS for FY12 Annual Resurfacing Phase I – Open Grade Resurfacing will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on May 30, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM (CDT) on May 30, 2012. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 12-23 for FY12 Annual Resurfacing Phase I – Open Grade Resurfacing. No bid will be opened unless accompanied by proof of Florida Department of Transportation qualification (current FDOT certificate of Qualification) in the following work categories: 1) Flexible Paving, 2) Hot Plant-Mixed, Bituminous Structural and Surface Courses. FDOT Certification of Qualification form must be attached to the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal. Please submit an original and one (1) copy of your bid package. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work includes, but is not limited to, open grade resurfacing of various local roads totaling approximately 5.14 miles.
