Summary of Specifications:
Bay County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified insurance consultants for services related to our Group Health Insurance Program. The County’s health insurance plans are currently fully-funded programs through Florida Blue. The County is seeking a consultant for the primary purpose of an evaluation of our current plans, along with our claim history, to determine the possibility of a financially feasible program that could lead to a stable Self-Funded Group Health Insurance Program. The County is looking for the best possible option, whether it be fully-funded or self-funded for the immediate time-frame and a long-term plan going forward.
