RFP-11-11 - Request for Qualifications Architectural

Summary of Specifications:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Bay County has a Community Development Block Grant funded by the Florida Department of Community Affairs and U.S. Housing and Urban Development, Contract No. 10DB-K4-01-13-01-K03 to build an Emergency Operations Center Warehouse. The request for qualification is for architectural and engineering design for an 8,000 to 10,000 square foot warehouse. The scope of the project includes design work for the building, production of all documents, architectural drawings, and building specifications. The expectation is for the designing firm to utilize a metal building for a design wind load from a category 5 hurricane. The full spectrum design services shall include but not be limited to: 1) Cost Estimation, 2) Architectural Design, 3) Building Systems Design, 4) LEEDs, 5) Photo Voltaic Electric System, 6) Geotechnical Investigations for Building Foundation, 7) Periodic Construction Inspections, and 8) Project Inspection to assure the Contractor is installing as designed 9) Interior design to include rooms and shelving.
