RFP-06-32 - Roofing Project

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intention of this specification to establish and define those services that are to be performed and, in addition, to determine the capability and experience of the Contractor desiring to perform such services. Intent is for the Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to remove the existing roof; install tapered insulation using hot asphalt; install 2 (two) plies of fiberglass felt using hot asphalt; install a torch-down single ply roof system; and re-flash all walls, parapets, and roof penetrations. A twelve (12) year labor and material warranty is to be supplied. Clean up and dispose of all debris and trash from construction and completion in every detail of the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
