RFB-08-38 - Security Services for the Bay County 9th Street Government Complex

Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE OF WORK: 

1. Type of Security: This is an unarmed, uniformed security officer assignment, responsible for the physical security of the Bay County Government Complex, including all structures and equipment contained therein. 

2. Manpower Requirements: The position shall be manned five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, from 4 P.M. until 6:30 A.M. On weekends and holidays, the position shall be manned twenty-four (24) hours per day. The Security Guard shall wear a security uniform, badge, and comply with Florida Statute 493 for Security Guards. The following ten (10) days are holidays for Bay County: 

• The first of January-New Year’s Day • The third Monday of January-Martin Luther King Junior’s Birthday • The last Monday of May-Memorial Day • The Fourth of July-Independence Day • The first Monday of September-Labor Day • November 11th-Veteran’s Day • The Fourth Thursday of November-Thanksgiving • The Friday after Thanksgiving-Thanksgiving Friday • The twenty-fourth of December-Christmas Eve • The twenty-fifth of December-Christmas Day
