Description

Summary of Specifications:
Product to be AWWA B 703 - latest edition, AWWA Standard for Hydrofluosilicic Acid. The supplier shall provide Bay County with an affidavit that the Hydrofluosilicic Acid furnished complies with applicable requirements of AWWA B 703 - latest edition and shall meet all provisions of NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certification for Drinking Water. The liquid Hydrofluosilicic Acid shall contain between 20 and 30 percent H2SiF6 by weight. The County estimates that approximately 150 tons per fiscal year will be required. Quantities may be increased or decreased depending on actual need during the contract term; however, no price adjustments will be allowed as a result of a reduction in the quantity purchased. No minimum or maximum annual quantity is guaranteed.
