Summary of Specifications:
4.1 INTENT - It is the intent of this solicitation is to secure a contractor to perform removal, necessary repairs, installation, and testing for the well pump at potable well #11 (Florida Unique ID No. AAA7509) located at 157 Hill Avenue NW. The extent of work to be bid on includes pump removal, disinfection, repair, installation, and pump testing. All work performed by the contractor shall be in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any additional permits required to complete the project.

4.2 BACKGROUND – The existing well is 18-inches in diameter and it is powered by a 75 HP Jline pump. The pump is a 4 stage, with 500 feet of oil lubricated column. The pump operates against a discharge head of 25 psi (58 feet). The specific capacity is 33 gallons per foot of draw down. The pumping capacity is 920 gallons per minute.
