Sealed Bids for construction of MARY ESTHER DRIVE NEIGHBORHOOD WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS FACILITIES PLAN - PHASE 1, addressed to THE CITY OF MARY ESTHER 195 N CHRISTOBAL RD MARY ESTHER FL 32569, will be received at the office of the City of MARY ESTHER, State of FLORIDA, (Owner), until 10:00 a.m., local time, on the 10 day of October, 2022. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered.
Bids will then be publicly opened and read.
The Project contemplated consists of the replacement of waterlines and appurtenances along with rehabilitating sanitary sewer manholes within the Mary Esther Drive neighborhood.
The Work will be completed in all respects within 360 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run.

Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders.
All proposals must be sealed with the firm name and solicitation number clearly marked on the outside of the envelope or package.
The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
In order to perform public work, Bidders shall hold licenses as required by Florida State Statutes, and federal and local Laws and Regulations.
Bidders will be required to comply with Florida Trench Safety Act, FS 553.60 through 553.64, relating to the state’s trench safety standards.
In accordance with the provisions of Florida Statute 287.133(3)(d), Bidder who has been placed on the convicted vendor list may not submit a Bid on a Contract with a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with public entity, and may not transact business with public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017 for category two for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.
In accordance with the provisions of Florida Statute 287.134(3)(d), Bidder who has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a Bid on a Contract with a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with public entity, and may not transact business with public entity for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the discriminatory vendor list.
