Scope of Services
This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks responses from Consultants with strong professional qualifications in providing inspection and plans review services for various trades and disciplines. The selected Consultant will provide building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and structural inspection and plans review services, as outlined in the Florida Building Code, and as referenced herein.
The RFP seeks proposals from firms employing staff with qualifications in the following specialized areas: • Building Inspector • Building Plans Examiner • Electrical Inspector • Electrical Plans Examiner • Mechanical Inspector • Mechanical Plans Examiner • Plumbing Inspector • Plumbing Plans Examiner • Elevator Inspector • Elevator Plans Examiner • Roofing Inspector • Structural Plans Examiner • Permit Clerks

ANY PROPOSAL RECEIVED AFTER 3:00 PM ON SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2009 WILL BE RETURNED TO THE PROPOSER UNOPENED. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS BEFORE THE STATED TIME AND DATE IS SOLEY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROPOSER.
The City will not be responsible for delays caused by mail, courier service, including U.S. Mail, or any other occurrence.
A Pre-Proposal Submission Meeting is scheduled for July 31ST, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. at the following address:

The City of Miami Beach is using BidSync, a central bid notification system that provides bid notification services to interested vendors.
